Opened to the public in September 2010, La Casa de AMPI, the second home in AMPI's assisted living program, provides assisted living for very low-income adult males with intellectual disabilities, in much the same way as the other two homes.

To date, La Casa de AMPI has provided housing services for more than 15 people in the last 10 years. In this case, the home provides services for men with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Residents receive ongoing support from a case manager, 5 days a week and from a housekeeper, seven days a week. The residents are provided with all the support services needed which include the coordination of medical, dental and psychological services, transportation, recreation, medication management, among other services.

This home, like the others, has individual rooms, a power plant, cisterns, a solar heater and the house is fully powered by solar panels. It is important to emphasize that all these basic services offered to residents have been sponsored by various sources of funds such as the Ángel Ramos Foundation, the Buen Samaritano Foundation, Firstbank, Resilient Power Puerto Rico, the Banco Popular Foundation and others that make it possible for us to provide a safe and quality home for our residents.

Currently, as of December 2022, the home has no vacancies available. If you want more information, you can contact us at 787-464-1337.
